Dublin Dance Studios
Classes in Blessington are held in our purpose built dance studios ‘DanceTrax Studios’ with sprung floors, mirrors and barres throughout. Our Palmerstown classes, which have been running for over 30 years, take place in the Parish Centre, at the heart of Palmerstown village and community.

Past students have gone on to train and perform professionally in colleges, including The Scottish School of Contemporary Dance, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, University of Limerick, Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts and Inchicore College of Further Education.

Classical Ballet Dance Classes

Characterised by light, graceful movements, our ballet classes focus on encouraging a sound basic technique and an understanding of musical interpretation; providing the essentials of a pure classical training.
Modern Dance Classes

This class uses travelling steps, high kicks, leaps and turns which all need strength and flexibility. This is a highly energetic dance style.
Contemporary Dance Classes

This dance style stems from the core of the body and uses elements of contraction, release, spiral, floor work, fall and recovery and improvisation. This evolving style has fast become one of the most dominant genres for dancers throughout the world.
Acrobatic Arts Dance Classes
A beautiful fusion of dance
Known also as acro, this is a beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the athleticism of acrobatic elements. Acro’s roots are in traditional Chinese dance, later appearing as a favoured style on Vaudeville stage. Acro technique includes balancing, limbering, tumbling and partnering, based on flexibility, contortion and strength.

Preparing the next generation of talent...
We offer students the chance to prepare for external examinations in the internationally recognised Royal Academy of Dance, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and Irish Board of Dance Performance. We also prepare students for our biannual show in the Civic Theatre, as well as numerous other performance opportunities.
